Types of Scholarship
The SF-SF is offering scholarships for the following subjects:
Post-graduate studies:
Under the first working stream the SF Scholarship fund will be offering scholarships to those who already have a degree or equivalent from a reputable seminary or institution here or abroad to further enhance their skills and knowledge such as training to become a qualified Mufti or to specialise in a specific subject.
Those who wish to further their academic skills and who fall under this category must state what they want to specialise in and show how that will supplement their knowledge and benefit the community.
Under-graduate studies:
Students who meet the eligibility criterion the SF scholarship fund will offer scholarships in the following fields of study:
- Usul ad Deen – Principles of the Deen
- Fiqh wa Usuluhu – Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence
- Ulum al Hadith – Sciences of the Hadith
- Ulum al Qur’an – Sciences of the Qur’an
- Tafseer – Qur’an exegesis
- Hifdh wal Qira'at - Memorisation of the Qur'an and its modes of recitation
- Seerah – Biography of the Prophet
